Okay, so I'm kidding. Hysterical, I know! I actually have a couple books I want to show you guys today. The first one is a book that I wouldn't mind reading myself and the other book is just awesome in general.
Like I've mentioned in a previous post, I am a sucker for love stories. How can you not love them? Well, Susan Mallery has done it again and her new book Kiss Me will be coming out in paperback on June 30th. Kiss Me is a part of the Fools Gold series. To be exact it's number 19.
When Phoebe Kitzke is forced to move to a small town after losing her job in LA, she is invited to work at a friends ranch in Fools Gold and quickly finds that the country life might not be so bad after all.
Zane Nicholson, a sexy cowboy on the ranch, is not pleased. Bringing the city into the country is not his idea of a good time and when he finds that Phoebe is actually a charming girl with a personality even the animals love, he loses control and a passionate kiss shows him that a girl like her is exactly who he should stay away from.
Phoebe feels like this is what's meant to be, but she can't stay in the small town if Zane does not love her. Is he interested in forever or is she destined to leave the small town that feels like home?
As far as the awesome book, I will share the overview from Barnes and Noble because it is too incredibly awesome not to share! It is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander. Harry Potter fans should know exactly what this is. This will be coming out on June 30th and even though it is meant for ages 8-12, I think that even us grown ups could enjoy it.
Straight from the library at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a book of magical creatures that no Harry Potter fan should be without!
A copy of FANTASTIC BEASTS & WHERE TO FIND THEM resides in almost every wizarding household in the country. Now Muggles too have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats, and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl.
Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to Comic Relief, which means that the dollars and Galleons you exchange for it will do magic beyond the powers of any wizard. If you feel that this is insufficient reason to part with your money, I can only hope that passing wizards feel more charitable if they see you being attacked by a Manticore.
-- Albus Dumbledore
What do you think of these new books? Will you be reading them anytime soon? I know I will!
