This week we didn't have the chance to read all of the books from the weekly children's book challenge but we read a couple and I found a couple favorites.
Our first favorite was Who? by Leo Lionni. The basic story line was a mouse who was meeting a bunch of different animals. This helped Bella learn more animals in a fun and simple way.
Our second favorite was Happy Birthday, Little Pookie! by Sandra Boynton. Since her birthday is coming up I thought it would be a cute read. Turns out, it was. It goes through the day in the life of Little Pookie on his birthday.
Our final favorite was Hello, Airplane! by Bill Cotter. This, too, had a simple concept. The plane says goodbye to the ground and moves through the sky describing all that it does along the way.
We weren't able to go to this weeks reading program, but I will be sure to keep you up to date for next week!
Been Bookin'? focuses on all the wonderful aspects of reading from how to incorporate into your and your kids lives as well as book reviews every week!
