Hardcore by Staci Hart Been Bookin'? Book Review

Luckily, I have finally made it back home. It was a long and tiresome vacation and I'm thinking a vacation from my vacation would be fantastic! On another note, I have finished yet another great book. 

I mentioned this book in a previous post as well as how I got my hands on it. Staci happens to work with Bella's dad and he picked up a copy of her book, Hardcore, for me to read! That's pretty awesome in itself. 

Hardcore is a erotic suspense series, so before you pick this one up please realize what you will be reading. It follows the life of Cory James who, since high school, has enjoyed the sport of parkour. Eventually she started running with the wrong crowd and ended up stealing to make a living and help her younger sister, Jill, go to the college of her dreams. One night, after breaking into an electronics store, men began chasing after her as well as the other girls on her team, Erin, Cher, Morgan, and the hated Jade. She tried to lose him, but it turns out he was a fan of parkour as well and caught up to her. Once caught, things began happening and Cory could not resist this great looking guy in front of her. You'll have to read the book to find out details. Finally, all the girls caught up to each other and went home. 

Cory also has a daytime job delivering products and one day just happened to deliver one to Van Collins, the man she met on the roof that fateful night. He found her and new she would deliver the package. He just had to see her again. When she entered his apartment, she realized he was rich and also had a Mark Rothko painting hanging on the wall. She new those were worth millions. 

After returning home, she began talking with the girls about this experience and Jade, whom everyone despised, overheard the talk about the painting. Immediately, she wanted Cory to steal it. There was no way Cory was going to steal it, but Jade gave her an ultimatum. "Steal it, or I kill your sister." From there, many events take place and Staci keeps you guessing as to the fate of Cory and Van. 

This book was one of the few erotica books I have read and I am quite glad that I did. I loved the story line and in all honesty I would love to see more to the series. The character development was fantastic and it is nearly impossible to put down. I read this in less than 2 days! Anyway, there were a couple problems I had such as grammatical errors occasionally, but that's to be expected with any book. I'm just really good at picking those out whenever I read. The different words used in the book were a little harsh for me, but it definitely did not take away from the book. It was still great!
