What's New Wednesday: You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) by Felicia Day

Felicia Day is an internet sensation and in her new memoir she explains how she went from a secluded childhood to a Hollywood star. Day is known for being a "violinist, filmmaker, Internet entrepreneur, compulsive gamer, hoagie specialist, and former lonely homeschooled girl who overcame her isolated childhood to become the ruler of a new world…or at least semi-influential in the world of Internet geeks and Goodreads book clubs."

You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) follows Felicia through her life and outlines her southern lifestyle as a homeschool kid as well as her dreams to become big and her move to Hollywood. Unfortunately, she became known as the cat lady and landed a job as a secretary to start off with. Eventually, she was able to move out of that position and began her own production company and began making her own web series. This was a hit, so she kept doing exactly what was working for her.

Here you can check out one of her YouTube videos for yourself!

This title will be released on August 11th and can be purchased at Barnes and Noble for $16.75 in hardcover.

I have not read a non-fiction book in a while so seeing that this is coming out next week, I thought it would be a great title to check out. Would you be interested in reading this book? Let me know in the comments below!
